Remember the little things about the people you care about.
Everything stays on this device: no account, no internet, no AI. Nothing about anyone is sent anywhere.
Who do you want to remember things about?
Start with someone you’ll see this week. Add one thing they told you, like a pet’s name or a food they love.
The next 30 days
Birthdays, anniversaries and things to ask about. Put them in your phone’s calendar so it reminds you.
This makes a calendar file (.ics) on your device with names and dates only, never your notes. Open it to add the dates to your calendar. People Notes itself sends nothing.
Nothing in the next 30 days. Add a birthday or an “ask about…” date on someone’s card.
Passcode lock
Add a passcode to encrypt your notes on this device (AES-GCM, using your browser’s built-in WebCrypto). Without the passcode, nobody can read them, and that includes you, so pick one you’ll remember.
The lock is on. Your notes are encrypted on this device. It locks again when you reload, or after 5 minutes away.

Backup
Everything lives only in this browser. Save a copy now and then, or move it to another device.
The backup file isn’t encrypted. Keep it somewhere private. Turn on the passcode lock to get an encrypted backup.
